Only 3 km north of Velké Bílovice, the largest wine-growing village in the Czech Republic, is the top of Hradištěk. This picturesque hill offers a wonderful panoramic view of the surrounding countryside all the way to the Dyja River, with the Pavlovské vrchy towering majestically on the horizon. At the top of Hradištěk stands a beautiful chapel in the shape of a Romanesque rotunda, dedicated to St. Cyril and Methodius, St. Wenceslas and St. To Urban, patron of winemakers.

Na Podluží lookout tower – View of the wine region

From the Na Podluží observation tower, 30 meters high, you can enjoy a wonderful view of the entire wine region. The lookout tower is located near Nové Poddvorov and can be easily reached by car, bike or on foot. The viewing platform offers a view of the White Carpathians, Chřiby, Pavlovské vrchy and the town of Hodonín. Entrance to the lookout tower is free, and you will find benches nearby for resting after the ascent.

The windmill in Staré Poddvorov is an ideal destination for a pleasant walk. There are information boards around the mill that will introduce you to the history of this interesting building. On weekends during the summer months (from 1 July to 30 September) it is possible to look inside with a guide and see the mill up close.
